WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT AT THE EVENT?

Over the course of the weekend, experience: "No Stress, Mini Lectures, All Skills" at Woodsrunner School. Dive into key skills in the topics of Campcraft, Fieldcraft, Wildcraft, & and Woodcraft, unraveling them through engaging introductions, concise explanations, and vivid demonstrations. Then, practice under the watchful eyes of our seasoned instructors.

Suitable for All Skill Levels: This event warmly welcomes participants at every stage of the wilderness journey—from fresh explorers to seasoned wanderers.

Eligibility:

Students aged 10 and above, with those under 18 accompanied by a paid parent or legal guardian.
AMENITIES
Hammock & Tent Camping: Opt for hammock and tent camping at the event site, all at no additional cost, and stay close to the natural surroundings.
Restrooms & Warm Showers: will be readily available for your convenience.
Note: To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience, we kindly request that you bring the following.

Ample drinking and cooking water for the duration of the event.

A hammock or tent.

Weather-appropriate sleeping gear.

Suitable clothing and footwear for the prevailing weather conditions.

Camp Chairs.

A raincoat or poncho.

Adequate food, snacks, and drinks for the entirety of the event.

Utensils, Plates, bowls, pans, pots. (KITCHEN ONSITE: Cookstove, charcoal grill & and sink are available)

Ropework: 100’ 550 ParaCord and a Large Roll of #36 Tarred BankLine

Knife: Fixed Blade Knife - non-coated, and has a 90-degree spine (We recommend a Condor Terrasaur, Mora Bushcraft, or Mora Garberg).

Ropework and Blades are available for purchase: You must make payment at least 10 days in advance before the scheduled event.

If you have bushcraft gear, feel free to bring it along – gear enthusiasts are welcome!
Saturday night promises a feast - a complimentary dinner featuring vegetable beef soup and fresh bread.
