Join us for the Woodsrunner Wilderness Skills Weekend, an event designed for both beginners and experienced outdoor enthusiasts. This weekend offers an opportunity to learn bushcraft and wilderness skills through hands-on experiences in a natural setting. Enhance your self-reliance, confidence, and connection with the wilderness as you master essential skills.

Event Highlights:

🌲 Engaging Skills Instruction: Participate in lectures and demonstrations on Campcraft, Fieldcraft, Wildcraft, and Woodcraft. Our experienced instructors will guide you through key skills with clear explanations and practical sessions.

🏕️ All Skill Levels Welcome: This event is suitable for participants at all levels, from newcomers to seasoned adventurers.

Essential Gear:

• Water: Bring drinking and cooking water.
• Shelter: Hammock, tent, or tarp.
• Sleeping Gear: Weather-appropriate sleeping equipment and clothing.
• Rain Gear: Raincoat or umbrella.
• Food: Meals, snacks, and beverages.
• Cooking Equipment: Utensils and cookware.
• Personal Items: Hygiene essentials.
• Additional Gear: 100’ 550 Paracord, a large roll of #36 Tarred Bankline, and a fixed blade knife with a 90-degree spine (recommended: Condor Terrasaur, Mora Bushcraft, or Mora Garberg).

(Note: Rope and knives are available for purchase; payment is required at least 10 days before the event.)

Weekend Activities:

• Friday and Saturday Campfires: Enjoy communal campfires and connect with fellow participants.
• Saturday Night Dinner: Complimentary vegetable beef soup and baked bread.
• Camping: Tent, hammock, or tarp options available.
• Age Requirements: Participants must be at least 10 years old; those under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian.

• Duration: 5:00 pm Friday to 2:00 pm Sunday
• Prerequisites: None
• Eligibility: Students aged 10 and above, with under 18s accompanied by a paid parent or legal guardian.

Meeting Point:Meet near The Brick House Campground, 49 Brick House Rd, Whitmire, SC, between 2:40 PM & 3:00 PM on Friday, February 4th.

Directions:From I-26, take exit #60 (SC 66), head east for 3.5 miles, turn right onto Forest Service Road 358, and proceed 0.1 miles. Look for our crew at the entrance of the field on your left for guidance to the school property.
