COURSES & TRAINING
Woodsrunner courses are designed to help students build knowledge, gain experience, develop judgment, and become more capable outdoors.
Some students begin with Wilderness Readiness. Others want to become more comfortable living and traveling in the woods. Others come because they want to camp, hike, hunt, fish, navigate, or explore with greater knowledge and confidence.
There isn't one starting point for everyone.
Choose the direction that fits where you are and where you want to go.

MORE THAN COURSES
Not every reason to come to Woodsrunner begins with a course.
Throughout the year, Woodsrunner hosts Field Days and other opportunities for people to spend time outdoors, meet instructors and other students, practice skills, learn something new, and simply enjoy being in the woods.
Some people come with years of experience.
Some are just beginning.
Both are welcome.

Some experiences are better built around the people you're bringing with you.
Woodsrunner can work with private groups to develop training and outdoor experiences around their interests, goals, experience level, and available time.
Private training may be appropriate for families, businesses, churches, youth organizations, outdoor groups, preparedness groups, clubs, and other organizations looking for a shared learning experience.
Tell us about your group and what you hope to accomplish.
We'll help determine whether Woodsrunner is the right fit and what kind of experience makes sense.
