Survive to Rescue is a hands-on wilderness survival and readiness course focused on the first 24–72 hours of an emergency.
This training is designed to help students develop the skills, judgment, mindset, and readiness needed to respond effectively when weather, injury, navigation problems, or unexpected situations disrupt the plan.
Training focuses on field application, decision making, and real-world readiness during short-term wilderness emergencies.
Whether you spend time in the backcountry regularly or simply want stronger readiness skills for uncertain situations, this course helps build confidence and capability where it matters most.

How Training Works
Training is hands-on and field-based.
Students begin at Basecamp, where core skills are taught, practiced, and reinforced before transitioning into scenario-based field application.
Throughout the course, students work through realistic situations requiring problem solving, adaptation, and decision making under changing conditions.
The focus is simple:
Stay calm. Assess the situation. Respond effectively.
Training Format
Day 1–2: Basecamp Training
Training begins at Basecamp, where foundational and intermediate survival skills are taught, practiced, and reinforced.
Students work through shelter systems, firecraft, water procurement, navigation, gear management, and emergency response priorities in a structured outdoor environment.
This phase builds the core skills needed before transitioning into more realistic field conditions.
Evening Day 2: Scenario-Based Training
Training shifts into scenario-based field application.
Students are placed into realistic situations requiring them to assess conditions, make decisions, and apply skills appropriately using available resources and equipment.
Participants are encouraged to utilize the shelters they build and manage their own setup during this phase.
Day 3: Final Phase
Training continues into Day 3 with continued application and a final scenario.
This phase brings together the skills and priorities covered throughout the course while reinforcing readiness, awareness, and decision-making under changing conditions.
