ADEPT SKILLS PATHWAY
The Woodsrunner Adept Silks Pathway was created for those who want to attain a premier level of wilderness survival training in a base camp setting without the added stress of mental and physical challenges.
We care about our students and feel it’s our responsibility to make sure that they have a firm understanding of the various dangers that could arise in an outdoor environment, by preparing them through training and skill building.
This pathway presents many courses that give the tools for students to harness their drive to become self-reliant, and strive to be their best.
There are two ways that students can participate in the Wilderness Adept Survival Pathway (WASP). Students can either choose to enroll in individual courses, or to enroll in the pathway program.
There are a series of 9 courses in addition to the Wilderness First Aid + course in this program. To accommodate scheduling for students, each Pathway Course will be offered two (2) times each calendar year, starting in April of each year and ending in March the following year. If a student enrolls in the pathway program, they can start at any time and will have up to two years to complete their pathway.
From establishing a survivalist mindset and situational awareness to procuring food sources while building and maintaining a long term camp, our Pathway is a comprehensive set of courses designed to increase our students’ confidence and fortitude when they use the skills and knowledge our instructors provide in outdoor situations. We are sure that, upon achievement, students will possess the vast knowledge, advanced skill set, and survivalist mindset that will prepare them for myriad situations they’ll face within the wilderness and within their everyday lives.
